Can anyone help me out. I'm looking for a supplier of the
"pop-out" RJ-11 jacks that are becoming more popular on PCMCIA
modems, etc.

Does anyone know who supplies these? I think they are called
"X-jacks".

The X-Jack was originally developed and patented by the modem
manufacturer called Megahertz located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Megahertz has since been bought out by US Robotic but the Salt Lake
location (formerly Megahertz) still produces the modems with X-Jacks.

Megahertz/US Robotics have been highly protective of their patent
rights to the X-Jack but to my understanding have allowed for some,
but few licensing agreements.

You may want to contact US Robotics either at their Salt Lake
offices, or US Robotics at their corporate office in Skokie, IL.
