Treggers, The RCM in Australia is still a reasonably new concept. The RCM standards were published on 5 Aug 96 by Standards Australia: - AS/NZS 4417.1 - General rules for use; - AS/NZS 4417.2 - Specific requirements for electrical safety; and - AS/NZS 4417.3 - Specific requirements for EMC At this time it is only accepted for EMC. It is proposed that it may be accepted for the "Radiocommunications Framework" and the new "Telecommunications Framework" (which will take effect on 1 Jul, 97) plus medical and plumbing products but this has not yet been decided. The RCM will be a triangle (flat bottom, apex at top) with effectively the C-tick mark inside it however, the C-tick is not black with a white tick. It is just a large C (letter in black) with a tick starting in the center like the C-tick mark.
