David, Most of what you suggest has merit. I think what we have at present works fine. I don't like the idea of breaking things up into the various interest gruops. From a management point of view it adds several layers of complexity that may be difficult to implement and manage reasonably.
We (including myself) need to police ourselves a little better. I think most humor originating North America is lost on recipients that used English as a second language anyway. I think the idea of a mailbox dedicated to advertising will be difficult to manage. As soon as advertisers find they can freely post their literature the mailbox would go into overflow and become a strorage problem. Advertising would not be limited to telecom products or services. It sounds like a large time consuming manual sorting job. I agree with Vic B. the person or persons using TREG need to identify themselves. Hopefully a filter can be devised that passes on the identification of sender and trashes those from un-identified sources. Regards, Duane
