Bonaire is one of the Carribean islands that together with Aruba and Curacao
(the ABC islands) are part of what is known as the Netherlands Antilles, off the
Venezuela coast.
The area is known as the West Indies, and these particular islands are part of
the Lesser Antilles. There also is something with Windward and Leeward islands,
but I don't remember
which is which.

I'm sure that at one time they followed Dutch PTT rules. They may by now do
their own thing
or do something with Venezuela. Curacao lives on oil that gets shipped via
Venezuela, so
I imagine that is the way a lot of their traffic goes.

In case you want to go there, it is very hot and humid, and the people speak
Papiamento,
a combination of Dutch, Portuguese, French and native languages.

Ciao,

Vic
