The TR-332 is used to calculate the FITs/MTBF of an ENTIRE assembly. It is NOT used to determine the FIT of one single part. Are you trying to determine a FIT for one single part or an assembly of parts? They give a series of tables in the back of 332. I can find only my outdated Issue 4. For instance: INDUCTIVE DEVICES FIT TRANSFORMER Pulse Low Level 4 Pulse High Level 19 Audio 7 Power (>1W) 19 Radio Frequency 30 COIL Load coil 7 Power Filter 19 Radio Freq, Fixed 0.5 Radio Freq, Var 1 There's other parameters that go along with using these numbers to calculate the total FITs for an assembly such as temp stress, voltage stress, etc...
