Ron: A good summary of the applicable requirements for Europe appears in chapter 9 of ETSI 300-001 (also known as NET 4). For Australia, the requirements can be found in clause 5.5.1.3 of TS 002. Both of these documents are available from Compliance Engineering (508-681-6673). With a little extra effort, they can be obtained at lower cost directly from ETSI and Standards Australia.
