Ooops. Looks like your original email *was* asking about the S/T interface. In that case, it also uses the RJ-48 8-wire modular jack, and the Transmit pair is on 4-5, and the Receive pair is on 3-6. However, the other pairs are used for Power Source & Power Sink. I recommend that you check out ANSI T1.605, as there is quite a bit to know about passive busses, terminating resistors, etc.
