We are looking for Senior Product Safety Engineers, EMC Engineers, and Network
Attachment Engineers in Newbridge Networks Corporation's headquarters near
Ottawa, Canada.
Responsibilities include reviewing and simulating designs for compliance to
CSA, UL, IEC, FCC, IC, CISPR, CTR, ETSI, Bellcore & EN standards. You will
also consult with and educate the design community and perform testing in
Newbridge's in-house test facilities and obtain regulatory approvals in many
countries.
Qualifications:
- degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, Technologist Diploma
or the equivalent, plus related experience.
Newbridge( Networks designs, manufactures and services a comprehensive family
of end-to-end networking solutions that are standards-compliant and
incorporate both new and widely-adopted technologies including asynchronous
transfer mode (ATM), frame relay, time division multiplexing (TDM) and X.25.
