Yes this much closer to the mark that my poorly worded question. I am not seeking approvals or sale in the UK. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who answered my "dumb" question. I learned a great deal. I knew that there were audible differences in the countries' dial tones, ring frequency and cadence. I did not realize how complicated telcom approval are.
