Heard that Hong Kong has come up it's own Safety requirements which
will take effect in May 98.
Does anyone out there have the answers to my doubts :
1) Is Hong Kong Strictly adopting UK standards for AC-DC power
adaptors(3 pins) ? If yes, when has this take effect ?
or Euro 2 pins adaptors could be used ?
2) Is there any special labelling requirement for Safety after May
98 ?
3) What kind of safety standard is Hong Kong adopting ?
4) If my adaptor already has Demko approval, must testing still
be required ? or just registration with the authority is sufficient ?
