I have an AC-DC power adaptor which is tested to EN60742. EN60742 = " Safety requirements for transfomers which may be stationary or portable, single phase or polyphase" These are my questions : 1) If I will to bundle this adaptor with a speaker meant for PCs, is it a requirement to test the whole product to EN60950 ? 2) Is it a requirement that the casing of the adaptor has to be 94 V1 or better under IEC950 standard and the requirement for EN60742 calls for only 94 V2.
