Paul, Honeywell was likewise concerned about the amount & expense of updating documentation as the result of a legal mandate and looked further into the situation. We discovered that the source for the information was DRAFT Directive which was never approved. In fact, it was formally withdrawn in April 1997 according to 97/C 2/02 in the Official Journal of the European Communities. Fortunately, this seems to have been a "fire drill"! Bob
