Hi,
There is a safety mark with a certification number issue by PSB. As of June
1997, there 31 type of products that requires safety approval. You can
submit product for testing to PSB respective test centre
(Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Test Centres) and followed by approval
(Quality Division). If your product has CB report or other safety approval
(e.g. TUV, Demko......), you can submit for review. Subject to their
review, you might not need to sent for testing.

There is a information booklet for this Singapore Consumer Protection
Registration Scheme available from PSB (Safety Authority). First copy for
local company is free. There is a toll free hotline: 1800-7733163.

As for EMC, it's not mandatory yet. There is a EMC Test Centre within PSB
which can furnish you more details.

Hope the above information is beneficial to you.

For safety of "consumer" ITE (IEC 950), you must fill out a several
page application form and submit to the:

Singapore Productivity and Standards Board (PSB)
Quality Division
No. 1 Science Park Drive
Singapore 118221

+65 778 7777
+65 8720 531 fax

I do not know the EMC requirements.
