RE>>BABT 340 Issue 7 10/8/97
Joe, I just got mine in the mail (but I'm subscribing the their service). Naftali Shani, Nortel -------------------------------------- List-Post: [email protected] Date: 10/8/97 12:19 PM To: Naftali Shani From: [email protected] Thanks Cynthia for the reply. Now I need to ask if anyone knows when to expect the publishing of BABT 740? When the BABT auditor was here in September he did not know. I assume what you are asking about is what are the safety testing of product requirements in issue 7. BABT is developing a standard called 740, until that is available you still have to conduct production testing for safety to issue 6. Hope that helps. Has anyone received a copy yet? I am wondering how they handle safety issues in light of the self declare under the LVD. ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> Joe Dwyer Manager of International Engineering Inter-Tel, Inc. 7300 West Boston Street Chandler, AZ 85226 U.S.A.
