Hello Cynthia...

The information I have says that Japan accepts IEC 950 amd. 2, so be careful
there. I have a list of there national deviations to IEC 950, and can fax it
if you wish. I am sure you are aware of this, but just in case, watch out for
national deviations in Europe that may kick you back into an Amendment 3
situation anyway. - Mel

Subject: EN60950 Amendment 4

Per usual I am in a hurry and I know that I could go
find this information myself, but I was hoping someone
has already investigated this.

What I need to know is if I go ahead and start using amendment
4 of EN60950 as the standard for all designs, am I going to
run into any design issues outside of Europe? IE there are
many countries that accept EN60950 test reports (certain
Pac Rim countries for examples), but have they adopted
amendment 4 as well?

Thanks
Cynthia
