I am looking for the experiences of anyone out there who has used the voltage probe in CISPR 16-1:1993 (First Edition), Figure 10, particularly in a formal compliance test situation.
The probe is an alternate method for measuring conducted emissions on mains inputs where the line currents exceed the capacity of LISN's, and is the prescribed method for measuring conducted emissions on AC outputs on things like UPS, inverters, etc. My particular interest is the latter case, but either will shed some light. Rather than bog down the entire forum in the particulars, I suggest interested people e-mail me directly. I will collect whatever wisdom I can and send an e-mail to the forum later. Thanks.
