Pete,
The information I have says EN50082-1:1992 is valid until March 1,
2001 (d.o.w.), when it will be superseded by the 1997 version.
EN50082-1:1992 compliant equipment placed on the market after the
date
of withdrawal will require retesting.

TREGers,
As EN50082-1:1998 is now available, I am wondering whether my EMC
testing to the EU's EMC Directive MUST now be done in accordance with
this version which is more stringent than the 1992 version. More
specifically:
1) Has EN50082-1:1998 been listed in the OJ?
2) What is the transition period (if any)?
