The cable companies in the San Diego area, Cox & Southwestern, are fielding systems which do NOT need the extra phone line. The uplink is slower than the downlink, but is ALL via the cable company's coax feed. Typical cost is a one-time $100 and about $40 per month. -------------------------- Ed Price [email protected] Electromagnetic Compatibility Lab Cubic Defense Systems San Diego, CA.
