TREG'ers, I am looking for information on the minimum sidetone delay that the average human ear can detect. In other words, when I speak into my handset mic, I hear sidetone in the receiver. If it is delayed by, say 100 milliseconds, I hear a distinct echo. How short must the delay be to eliminate the awareness of an echo?
Thanks in advance for your help.
