Is there anyone who could recommend a source
of certified computer power supplies working from
24volt battery input, described somewhat as follows:
INPUT Voltage: 24 vdc (nominal)
TYPE: ATX (As in IBM PC/ Intel Motherboard)
POWER: 200 to 250 W
EMI/EMC: FCC Class B / EN5022 B
SAFETY: UL approved / CSA cert. / EN60950
So far, only ASTEC (UK) seems to make anything like this,
and I'm checking to see if they make this particular version.
I am aware of some companies that could develop it, but
the lead times are too long for me.
Interestingly enough, even though this is connected to
a battery, it still has to pass conducted emissions for
CE since there are other devices on the same battery
bus supply.
