Hello Mike, Impossible. If I understand the problem is that while testing for ESD some signal integrity is lost. If your question is CE-related, then this is of no problem. As long as the network system recovers itself without user intervention , the test passed. This is known as Criterion B in the Generic standard for Immunity EN 50082-1 referring to the ESD standards.
