Subject: FTD?

Anybody hear of FTD? Fail Time to Danger? Is this a UK term?
Please no jokes about flowers. Can it be what we here in the US
call Mean Time Before Failure?

If anyone has heard of FTD where do the calculations come from to determine
FTD?

thanks eric
