If you can not know where the equipment goes and your customer has no other specifications, you must assume that it will have to meet IEC 60950. You will run into problems if you start using phantom feeds with -120Vdc on one conductor and +120Vdc on the other conductor. IEC does not believe that you should be able to run that on 22 guage wire without protection.
