Hi All, I need a help! Understood that the requirement for plug in UK has to be 3 pins(with BSI approved). Is it true that for class II product(having 2 pins) for sales in UK is a requirement to change to 3 pins because of the socket used in UK ? Beside changing the plug to 3 pins, can we use "Adaptor"(a portable accessory having plug pins, intended to contacts of a BS 1363 socket-outlet). The purpose of this is to open the shutter so that 2 pins could be affixed to it. This adaptor is unfused,without cord & is completely in plastic from(inclusively of pins). My concern is must this "Plastic adaptor" be approved by BSI ? Has anyone seem this type of adaptor been used in UK ? Thanks in adavnce <jas>
