What about? Roeland [email protected] on 07/14/98 10:36:09 AM Please respond to [email protected] To: [email protected], Roeland Vandebriel/Antwerp/Xircom cc: Subject: SV: TBR21 a CTR21? Roeland, Daren & Co, The formal CTR 21 decision will finally be taken by the European Council on July 20 i.e. next Monday so there is no need to wait until September. On the other hand it is highly unlikely that a US modem design will pass TBR 21 without major changes. Unlike the current situation where you can exclude certain functionality such as the "french" current limiting e.g. for type approval in the UK you must comply with all clauses of the standard to be able to apply for a CTR 21 approval. Datum: måndag, juli 13, 1998 22:56 <<Bifogad fil: ENVELOPE.TXT>> Hi Allen, Do you mean September 1998 or 1999? Who is telling TBR21 will be a CTR21 in September? I thinks I missed something, do I? regards Roeland mobile user check this out: http://www.xirocm.com/realport "Allen, Daren" <[email protected]> on 07/13/98 07:28:47 PM Please respond to [email protected] To: "'[email protected]'" <[email protected]> cc: (bcc: Roeland Vandebriel/Antwerp/Xircom) Subject: RE: [Q] Jeongmin Cho, I suggest you wait until September and then use the CTR21 approval route for your product. This way you could possibly get your US design into all of the EU. However, you should consult the current TBR21 standard before getting your hopes up.
