Schönen Dank Frank. I misspoke and stand to be corrected, the names of the government departments changed because of privatization, but the government is still very much in charge of regulation. Thank you for bringing us all the proper acronym, >>RegTP<< Would you care to share with us who the 8 Notified Bodies are ?? Add to your woes that a lot of people from the old Bundesministerium für Post und Telekommunikation, all good Rheinländer, take a dim view of being moved into all the splendiforous office towers that are being built in Berlin and you will understand why things are in a flux. For that matter, the same goes for Italy where things are changing. Add to that, that not only your banks are merging, but that there is a hell of a lot of churn in Notified Bodies buying properties around the globe. The old BZT was bought up, or into, by CETECOM, Telefication was bought by KTL, etc., etc. As the Chinese are want to say, "May you live in interesting times". Vic
