Vic - 

You are quite right that those of us who have invested heavily into 
knowledge and capability in speakerphone performance (measurement 
methodology, capability and design) are less-than-willing to 
casually part with this IP...

Nonetheless, APREL (and its scientist-CEO) has for a long 
time participated in the ITU commitee which produced the speakerphone 
standard.  The standard still does not address many areas, and we 
therefore have proprietary measurement methodologies for handsfree 
telephony.  Even for digital phones...
