Here are two more standards that relate to internet date conventions used for
messages such as this one.
1) RFC 822 available on the internet at
ftp://venera.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc822.txt
2) RFC 1123 available on the internet at
ftp://venera.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc1123.txt
There is also a new draft standard to replace the above two
