Hi,
        yes, if you go outside the building you must meet power cross
lightning etc.  Inside I guess standard PC stuff should hold.  Look up Annex
M of UL1950.  If you are inside and have short loops and a low power ringer
it should be a snap.  Ringer power inadequate to kill that is.
