I am not familiar with the "essential requirements" of the Medical Devices Directive but am familiar with a number of other Directives. From your description, the "package" you are marketing is certainly subject to both the Medical Devices and EMC Directives and depending on how you power it, may be subject to the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive
