There were many never adopted proposals in CISPR SC A Radio Interference and Statistical Methods and SC G Interference Related to Information Technology Equipment to recognize absorbing clamp method as the alternative to OATS. Switzerland's and Swedish national committees were the most active. These proposals achieved earlier quoted wording in CISPR 22.
