Jayesh,

The US is more stringent on safety than the EU. If the product falls 
under UL 1950, essentially EN 60950 with national differences, it must be 
listed with a NRTL such as UL, MET, ETL, etc. to be installed in the US. 
The NRTL will require periodic visits to the factory as a condition of 
their listing.
