Factory compliance, USA As a "starting point", you may find that for marketing purposes in certain states, you require UL safety listing which is likely to entail a factory inspection as a part of the UL follow up agreement. I am sure colleagues in the USA (and UL) can provide further data on these aspects. Bill Ellingford. ---------- From: Jayesh Vadgama[SMTP:[email protected]] Sent: 26 January 1999 13:12 To: 'INTERNET:[email protected]' Gentlemen, I hope one of you could assist. My question is, if the factory is approved to build product to directive 91/263/EEC. What approvals does the factory need to build product for shipping to the US, or is directive 91/263/EEC accepted by the US.
