Dear Roger,

As far as I am aware UL, CSA and ITS (as of last week) have signed
agreements with IRAM to perform the necessary testing and were able to
facilitate safety certification with IRAM. The official list of foreign
labs recognised currently only includes UL, but this may be due to
delays in IRAM notifying the Argentine State Home Office.

I suggest you contact one of the three organisations above for further
information.

Best regards, Edward

Subject: Argentina

Hello Treggers,
I need to go through approvals in Argentina with a PBX/Key type system,
and
have been told that the power supplies must be approved by a lab "that
works
from IRAM norms (world authorized)" in order for the equipment to be
imported into Argentina.

Can someone advise what an IRAM norm is and which labs might be so
authorized?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
