Bill, you're looking for a perfect world. You have to look at where you want to sell the product (and hope people will buy it). There are reasons why it is difficult to find a Citroën car in North America, and that has nothing to do with it being a french car or being a bad car. You can buy Renault products here. Hence, "MARKETING" is who should decide what to design for, where I suspect that if you have a really good product, you will want to provide both the ANSI and ETSI markets. Ciao, Vic
