I only needed the SD reader capability (and only because the builtin SD slot on my Thinkpad x60 won't recognize an SDHC card) so I bought the Sandisk Micromate at Amazon.com. It's tiny and works very well. If the Call of the Credit Card lures me to Target to buy the Nifty FM transmitter, I'll use this little guy to plug in the 8gb SDHC card from my Treo which, in turn, gets sync'd with iTunes through mOcean or with Windows Media Planer through pTunes (haven't settled on one or the other yet - own both; still deciding) and so I have all my music on the Treo and in my car without having to fumble with wires and connectors and adapters and without further draining the battery on my Treo.
Nifty! http://preview.tinyurl.com/293wy9 Cheers, Don p.s. If you say the word "Nifty" enough times, even in your head, it starts to sound like a nonsense word. Nifty, nify, nifty. p.p.s. Wikipedia: Nifty is also an adjective of 18th century American theatrical origin, possibly a shortening of "magnificent", and meaning "really good". ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Craig Froehle Sent: Wednesday, March 14, 2007 9:47 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Treo] Nifty FM transmitter On 3/14/07, Alli <[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:alli%40allibama.net> > wrote: > http://mytreo.net/archives/2007/03/sandisk-imagemate-12-in-1-card-reader -review.html <http://mytreo.net/archives/2007/03/sandisk-imagemate-12-in-1-card-reade r-review.html> > This one does work on the new 8GB SDHC cards.
