Actually, it really works great, but I returned mine within 28 days. ;o) Nice toy, but definitely not "needed" at $300, especially considering my next car will probably have a built in. Honestly, it turned out to be much faster to use Yahoo!maps for directions and then send them to my Treo via text message, and I simply don't get "hopelessly lost" that often!
My TT v6 worked great, though and on a T650 no less -- took a little longer to acquire the blue tooth GPS receiver and then a valid satellite signal than I would've liked, but if you're willing to sit in your car for 30 or 40 seconds before driving off, which is what you need to buckle up, adjust mirrors, etc. anyway, that's not really a problem! Graphics, sound, directions all exactly as advertised. I especially liked the size of the GPS receiver -- smaller than a pack of matches, and with a little Velcro, it stopped sliding off my dashboard and threatening to go flying right out the open passenger window (yikes) -- so don't try to go without securing it somehow. I can't stress this enough. Oh, yeah. The documentation was lacking, too -- I got the 1 gb SD card and CD package and it took me almost a week to realize that I needed to copy the contents of the TomTom SD card to another SD card because the TT card was locked as "read only" with no option to ever write favorites, home address, business address, etc., to it, and they don't tell you that anywhere! If you don't care about spending the money, it should work great for you and I hope you have fun!
