One thing I remember from an interview with Mr. Hawkins was that they
take "big thumbs" into account with the key design. As long as you get
close and press down, it's likely that even though you thumb is in
contact with multiple keys when you do it. When I press a D for
example, my thumb is also in contact with the S, the F and the X. But
99 times out of a hundred, it's D that I get!!

Horseshoes, hand grenades and Treo keyboards!!

Cheers,

Don

My thumbs are, indeed, pretty unwieldy, compared to that keyboard.
On the other hand, I'm finding the keyboard becomes easier to use
over time, so maybe it's just another case of resistance to change.
Look, I'll be 6 decades on the planet come October. Just about the
time I become comfortable with something, you youngsters come up with a
replacement. What's worse, it's usually better than what it replaced.
Still, I'd be willing to do a wpm check -- you on the keyboard and
me with Grafitti. ;-)
