It's interesting and seems to have a nice interface. I'm just a little nervous
about relying on one company, probably not a very big one, for all this data.
Google at least has the advantage of being very big and thus probably will not
be going anywhere any time soon. What would be really nice would be to have
some open-standard calendaring format - xml-based, I guess - which could be
read by whatever readers anyone chose to develop. Various companies could come
up with readers/editors/syching apps/etc. I know there's stuff like iCal, but
I've never seen an entire app based on it, and I'm not sure if it's actually
xml-based, or just an open standard of some other type. Google Calendars can
be accessed as rss feeds, which is a step in the right direction, but still not
quite what I think would be optimal.

Levi, check out ClearSync (http://www.clearsync.com <http://www.clearsync.com/>
) -- it's a very
nifty "shared calendars & contacts" service for Palm users. Actually,
anyone can use it since it offers desktop and web components as well.
But the real clincher (for me, at least) is that the Palm OS ClearSync
applications replace the standard built-in Calendar and Contacts apps
and can display multiple peoples' schedules/addresses at the same
time. Given that my wife and I both use Treos, we can enter stuff as
we normally would and every time either of us syncs, our shared data
get sent to the server and wait there for either a web/desktop access
or another hotsync by the other person to get loaded to their Treo.
You can also wirelessly update your data directly from a
data-service-enabled Treo...very nifty trick. Check it out...I've no
financial interest in it, but am a very happy user.
