Opera is available for download and install on the existing treos. Java is needed which also can be downloaded and installed. Same with Chattermail. It's always a nice practice to support old customers or people would not remain with them for ever or long. If they had stopped supporting treo 600/ 270/ 650, then would we prefer palm or would switch where there's some support available?

Opera and the Palm version of Chatteremail will be for the next generation of Palm devices, running PalmOS 2 or PalmOS Linux, IMO. To: <[email protected]>Reply-To: [email protected] Palm has taken over Chattermail and Opera. Are they going to come out with new ROM or something for their existing customers? What about the Treo 680 customers? When they change to Linux base, what will happen to the Garnet - >5.4.9? Upgrade to Opera and Chattermail or something? Does anyone have any clue? > Yahoo!
