I know about the native phone app's log as source, but if I could copy
number/contact, date/time and duration to, say, Daily Journal, I
wouldn't care that some entries had dropped off the history.
I need not only to know the number/date/time but in many cases who I
talked to, what story I was working on, etc. As for proving the phone
bill, the information can be valuable when a) I don't have the number in
Contacts, so History cannot identify it, and the number is not available
in a reverse/online lookup. That's a problem particularly on incoming
calls, and most particularly when an office has a bunch of numbers,
seemingly reported at random. When I look at my monthly bill, I've no
idea what some of the numbers are; I'm fairly certain they were work
related, but I can't provide the link.
