Well, it does list a few new things:

"Building upon the success of the Treo 700p, we've added enhancements such
as Mobile Voice Control, a new IM application and Sprint TV in the ROM for
mobile entertainment and news."

Also BT DUN, but then again, that might be on the 700P, couldn't tell you.

It supports Microsoft DirectPush email for VersaMail, if VersaMail is
acceptable to you. Maybe use that for business and snapper or chatter for
personal email.

What is the Access browser? Different than Blazer?

Like you, I wonder what nimrod decided on using mini-SD? I sure hope a
hack would increase size from 4gb to 8gb, if minis come that large.

I wonder about the battery life. Is it as pathetic as the 680 is said to
be? Being slimmer, it probably is.

There was some discussion over whether this would be EVDO Rev A or Rev 0.
Turns out this is Rev 0, which is still fast enough to stream radio station
audio, which would be cool, I admit.

I think the only people for whom this would be a step up are those of us
with 650s and older, or on the glacially slow Cingular network. I just
don't know if it's enough of an improvement to make the jump, and I really
don't want to throw away my SD cards and buy miniSDs.
