The green button is doing something a little weird in Comet, which I
mentioned in my last post but maybe it deserves to be a standalone comment:
I have Green (in Butler) set to Comet. I use TakePhone to make or
answer a call; the Treo goes to the Treo dialer screen when the call
activates.
If I hit Green at this point, the call goes on hold. Hit Green
again, it comes off hold.
If I press Phone, the screen goes back to TakePhone (as it should)
and the call stays in progress (which it should). Now hit Green and
Comet comes up in a note for the call.
Long press Phone and I'm back to the dialer screen, and Green is
back to being a Hold button.
Until a few minutes ago, the Opt+Green was left at default, since I
didn't think I have a use for it. I just set Opt+Green to Comet -- and
now when I'm in a call, if I hit Green I get the action above described,
but Opt+green gets me into a Comet note for that call. It doesn't make
sense to me why hitting Green again doesn't do that, but that's the way
it works.
