I just left a message on Shimone's TreoCentral forum: http://discussion.treocentral.com/showthread.php?p=1259260&posted=1#post1259260 should get you to the full note but basically I think I've found that while it will *create* a journal entry, any attempt to *append* to an existing entry results in a reset of my Treo680.
He's added a drop list to the call history Details page, with three options: "Copy all details," "Save to journal" and "View contact history." Copy all details does just that, allowing me to create or append to a journal and paste in the information. (Temporarily, this relieves the append problem with Save to journal.) View Contact History performs a search and lists all occurrences in the call history of calls to or from the selected contact. Cool.
