Thanks, Al. That's a big help. It sounds like Palm Desktop for Mac is
the way to go. I could always experiment with iCal (and Missing Sync)
to see if a like it (them)

I have about about 20 apps on my Treo 680 that relly matter to me. The
ones with no conduits should work just fine with Mac. So I'm concerned
about the ones that do have conduits and, hence, require syncing to
update. I can check with each app's webpage to see if they can work
with a Mac. Also, Missing Sync has a list of apps that it works with.

Have you or anyone else been able to sync any of the following with a
Mac without issues: Adobe Reader (on Missing Sync OK list; henceforth,
I'll abbreviate with MS if it's on their list), Avantgo (MS),
BackupBuddy (MS), Easy Update-United Airlines (MS), eReader (books),
Mobipocket (books and daily newspaper updates, a fabulous source),
Maltin Movie Guide (MS), MobiMate's WorldMatePro (MS), Zagat
(restaurant/hotel reviews worldwide)?

Is Missing Sync necessary to sync these apps regardless of whter I use
Palm Desktop for Mac or iCal?
