It seems only current wx and 5-day forecasts are available. It is very
pretty, and allows you to pre-select several cities for updates.
But I agree - being able to see the radar would be a nice feature,
especially when I'm looking at local weather. If I'm in Gettysburg, PA
and looking at Miami, Fla., the 5-day forecast probably is sufficient.
But if there's a tornado or t-storm cell moving in on G'burg, I'd
kind of like to know where it is and which way it's moving.
I looked at WorldMate (someone on here mentioned it) and it -- for
me -- is overkill. But something simple, like TreoWeather with radar -
now that I'd probably pay for.
I don't spend a lot of time looking at weather reports -- I pretty
much figure if my head's getting wet, I'm either standing beneath an
incontinent squirrel or it's raining. I can narrow that down my moving a
couple feet in any direction.
And I get local weather alerts via email from a local TV station --
might be with a little advance plannning, I could set up the same thing
in a city I'm planning to visit.
But that radar -- that I could go for.
