Well, but I don't know how "visible" this fumble is. Sure those of us who already own the phone and keep up with this stuff see it, but I doubt those who aren't following palm developments (either because they don't have a palm or they don't have the time/desire) have heard anything. Personally I don't think Palm should have taken the fix down, but then I think they also should have forced users to back up their data like they have with some previous updates. That way if the fix caused a problem, you just restore. Oh well, guess we'll just have to wait, but it's been removed now for over a week, right? I wonder when it will be back???
