Yupper.
    I don't remember actually turning off the phone, but I did it 
overnight, when it wasn't automatically checking emails and no one was 
likely to be calling me.
    You are welcome for the remembrance. I enjoyed listening to him. 
Didn't have a television until I was 12, and I have a difficult time 
remembering who I only heard on radio and who I got to see some of on 
TV, but to hint at possibilities, I remember when the NBC peacock was 
born -- promoting color pictures on our b-w TV.
    I don't have the history your dad had, but with any kind of luck a 
few folks will recall with some favor my journalistic endeavors.
