Background: I've been experiencing significant problems with my Treo700p
beginning with losing my HSSN and other ROM-based info. I took the unit into
the Sprint store and let them do whatever to recover with full confidence that
my device was thoroughly backed-up using BackupMan.
I don't know what the store "technician" did with/to my phone, but I've not
been able to recover! All my applications get restored from the backup set,
but the preferences and software registrations are not restored. I know that
I've recovered using backups previously without these issues. I've hard reset
several times and used a couple of different backup sets, but neither returns
my preferences and registrations. I've also tried hotsync with "desktop
overwriting handheld" without success.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?
