I'm not a mac user, so all I can do is tell you how it works in Windows. Presumably one of the mac aficionados will be able to help out. On Windows, I can right-click on the Hot-Sync icon in the system tray, and bring up a menu, from which I select "Custom...". This brings up a list of conduits, for which I can select the one I care about, and choose "Change...". I can then choose "Do Nothing", and save. If I don't choose "Set as default", then the change only applies to the next HotSync. I hope you can find the equivalent setting on your mac... Sam
